Super Theory addresses the issue of the rise of diabetes in Singapore. The lifetime risk of developing diabetes is one in three among Singaporeans. 12% of the population suffer from pre-diabetes. Fortunately with a healthy lifestyle, pre-diabetes is reversible. Hence, ‘Super Theory’ is founded with the following beliefs, Sugar Free, Ultra Active, Perk You Up, Extra Organic and Real Foods. Each letter forms the word ‘SUPER’, inserting more weight into the war of diabetes we are trying to fight for.
Super Theory consists of a café, which serves healthy and delicious food, as well as an application which encourages users to lead a healthy lifestyle, as it converts the amount of exercise the user does into currency that can be used to pay at the Super Theory café. These two touch points goes hand in hand to potentially slow the growth rate of diabetes
in Singapore.
